3 ...the really good superhero movies, like "Superman," "SpiderMan 2" and "Batman Begins," leave "Fantastic Four" so far behind that the movie should almost be ashamed to show itself in the same theaters.

While the story was decent, I think it played it a little too traditional (read: boring) when it came to the execution. I felt that the script went to too great a length to explain everything about all 5 (the 4 + Doom) characters. Jessica Alba as Susan Storm was seriously mis-cast. I didn't buy her love interest with Reed Richards & she's stiff as an actress. Julian McMahon steals the show as Victor Von Doom (aka Dr Doom). Overall, I'd consider this a disappointment for Marvel (but not a flop like DareDevil or Elektra)...

The build-up was slow enough that the kids I was with got bored. I got bored because all the explaining wasn't necessary. When it came time to use mutant powers to fight evil, there wasn't much time left and they had to finish the badguy off quickly. He didn't even come back to life once!

Just lots of fun as long as you don't try to think too much.

Boring, it doesn't hold a candle to the other superhero films out there.

A terrible movie . You will see better film in the sky. Truly, Deeply Flawed.
