5 It's not much of a movie, another bright, shtick-laden gagfest from Brian Levant, director of The Flintstones and Beethoven--but it's lively and watchable and a nice showcase for a pleasant cast...

3 ...within five minutes, you'll be asking, is Are We There Yet? over yet?

2 Aimed at youngsters for whom flatulence, urination or vomiting represent the height of hilarity, this repetitive, predictable comedy will leave adults whimpering, "Is it over yet?"

3 Surely the only thing more excruciating than being trapped in a car with a bratty child is having to sit through a road-trip movie that features two of them.

5 Cube is cute and Long is lovely, but the youngsters are too brash and smug to bear.

This movie tries way WAY too hard to be both cute and funny and fails miserably at both. The plot is predictable, the children are petulant and smug, and neither Nia Long nor Ice Cube make up for any of it. I want my money back.
