r0der1k 10Despite Moore's predilection for, how shall we say, bending certain details, Fahrenheit 9/11 is mostly competent in its inquiry into the monetarily-driven political motivations of the Bush family. Given its timing, scope, and success, it will be hard to look back and argue that it wasn't the most important film of a generation.
stevilbot 9after you run everything that you see through your moore filter there are some interesting and insightful nuggets. moore has a penchant for the stupidly dramatic and, shall we say, interesting editting.
that notwithstanding, it's a must see and will hopefully provide an appropriate kick in the pants for folks to pay attention to what's going on in the country.
triple-e 3Okay, I don't know what movie these other people were watching, but this movie was so boring. I have no trouble with the details and facts/opinion, but did it have to be put together so slowly and horribly. I gotta believe that there were better ways to get these facts out.
sethmcd 0Michael Moore tried his best to push his agenda onto gullible entertainment seekers. Fortunately, the majority of Americans know overweight deciet when they smell it.
Jamie 7Not a "fun" movie to watch. Not sure how much "truth" is behind it. None the less an interesting look at Bush and company.
Sven 10I think I'll give it a 10 just to piss off sethmcd.
Oracle 10It will change your mind of thinking forever.
This movie is so well made, that if all the bad horror movie directors (saw, and other crappy movies)got toghether and tried to make a political rival agints this film, they would make a fool of themselves. It is so persuasive, cogent, cynical, smart, smart, smart and will change your mind of thinking FOREVER. See it now.
lalligood 9Even if only 5% of what Moore talks about in his movie is true, every US citizen needs to be asking the questions, "Why is it dark in here? Why is it hot? And what am I doing in this handbasket?" Because if we allow this president to continue on the current path, we're going to hell...
