i was very surprised by how much i really appreciated this movie. it's not for those easily grossed out. but it does provide a better insight into the middle eastern perspective and what's making the al jazeera network tick.

the current administration (notably rumsfeld) would have you believe that these folks are simply the mouthpiece of terrorists. the reality is much more complicated than the rumsfeld sound bites.

highly recommended. it's going to make you think about how our american media and the government is structuring the message they want you to hear.

Well done. It was interesting to see the flipside to some of the nonsense we saw on MSM and shocking to see, and recall, what appeared to be blatant targeting of Arab press.

A good reminder that any media you're watching is put through some sort of filter. I wish they would have had more "gotcha" moments where it was obvious that the message that the MSM was putting out was impossible (a commander who was reported to have surrendered by MSM was live on Al Jazeera... not surrendered.)

The main point I took away is that war is hell, and reporting honestly about it makes very few people happy. Nobody likes facing up to the blood and guts of wartime images.
