Very funny, with smart critiques of both the former East Germany and Western capitalist culture. I wasn't ready for the overly sentimental ending, and the father's relationship with the mom and kids didn't really make a lot of sense, but overall it's an excellent film.

Teasingly funny, great plot, good acting make this movie a good one. It may also pierce you at times. overall a great, nifty film.
