lalligood 6I was really into to this movie...hook, line, & sinker. Until one particular bit of dialog about 15-20 minutes from the end completely unraveled the story for me (I won't spoil it for anyone here though).
I was constantly amazed by the rundown, overgrown abandoned environment of Manhattan. The camerawork was for the most part very dynamic & largely responsible for moving the plot along.
schrowa 6the history of this movie as omega man was more interesting than the movie itself.
chunkbot 4I liked the first hour, and the first 'scary' scene, but the bad guys were lame, I don't care if Mike Patton actually did the voices for them or not. Superman and Batman: 2010!
LMBradshaw 3Did little for me especially when it suddenly changes direction as if the editor cut out too many scenes.
JonDeLarge 6Will Smith made this movie tolerable. Have been saying it since I saw it.. both times.
ices8er#14 10it was so sad, but i think that Will Smith did a great job and i thought that it was a great movie
stevilbot 8this is an impressive performance. it's a clever plot, it leaves you wondering and curious. will smith earns his money on this one. much better than i'd expected and has me wondering if it's better if i see it on something than the crappy hotel TV.
Oracle 6Starts out extraordinary and powerful and well pitched but loses such a quality as it approaches the end -- and the end is what screws it big time, which is an utterly cliche, trite rip off that only Hollywood could produce. However, Smith's performance is superb -- his best, for sure.
madmitch 8There were things about this movie I liked and things I just didn't. All and all I enjoyed it but didn't get the Will Smith character's behavior in some places. The overgrown city was pretty cool.
