lmbradshaw 5Too jagged and harsh to be enjoyed, rather only endured.
wynns 6I just wasn't compelled. I didn't really care who blew up and who cried. It wasn't a standout in any way: performance, cinematic, story... nothing.
swidnikk 2It was way way too long first of all and I was getting pretty bored regretting my 10 bucks half way through the thing. Second, I didn't really identify with the anti-Israel vibes it puts out. Third, its not at all historically accurate. I wasn't sure how to interpret the "based on real events" tag line at the beginning of the movie so I read a bit of criticism to help me wrestle with some of what I saw and I found this article informative: http://www.boston.com/news/globe/editorial_opinion/oped/articles/2006/01/16/terrorism_confusing_cause_effect/
bigmoviefan 4Given our current situation with terrorism, it's hard to listen to some liberal nonsense about justification for the Palestinians. It's about hate. Just call it what it is, don't try to fabricate some nonsense and drop it in the plot like its some talented insight. I'm not buying it. That's what bothers me most about this film; Its premise is a lie!
madmitch 6I felt no sympathy for either side. All I got was one hate filled group was killing the other side who responded in their own hate filled way. The paranoia at the end just made me think 'as you sow, so shall you reap'. The other thing I didn't get was the elaborate and confused methods of killing the targets. It seemed like all they were doing was adding extra layers of possible failure. They seemed to have lots of ability to just walk up to the targets and off them. A confused film.
stevilbot 5honestly, i wish i'd watched this on something other than my phone. that said, it's not particularly compelling and you don't really care one way or another for any of the characters.
rentable, but glad i didn't spend the $s on it in the theater.
