8 Even though Kiss pulls from tried-and-true tricks and plot devices, it's raised by crisp dialogue (especially some sharp voice-overs), Downey and Kilmer's wild antics and a grand sense of satire.

6 The plot is a bit of a mess and the film misses "classic" status by hitting too many creative dead ends, but you gotta give credit to any movie that describes one scantily-clad babe as "wetter than Drew Barrymore at a grunge club."

Had it not been Robert Downey, Jr. and Val Kilmer, I would have turned it off at the party, because even their gift was poorly showcased.

The world needs more movies like this.

Very fun.

Based on critics' reviews I was expecting something a lot smarter. Some clever moments but overall a disappointment ... with the exception of Michelle Monaghan. Yowza.

Knew nothing about it when I popped it in. Was pleasantly surprised through the whole thing. Twisty and quirky. Worth 100 minutes without a doubt.

A movie this delightful and quick deserves an equally quick review.

It's definitely worth the two hour investment.

val kilmer is fun, but that's about it. RD jr deserves a better script.
